Some fans from the various national supporters unions were waiting at the Kotoka
International Airport on Thursday morning with Ofeibea Ramatu, who has
declared her interest in becoming the next President of the Ghana FA,
to make a trip to Malabo for Ghana’s AFCON 2015 semi final against Equatorial
Guinea, celosports can exclusively report.
Reports gathered shows that the fans are being flown to Equatorial Guinea on the
ticket of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), as part of their
corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Travel Matters Limited is the travel and tours agency contracted by the
Sports Ministry to fly the fans from GHANSU, NSU, Millennium Supporters Union
and Hero Supporters Union to Equatorial Guinea.
A delegation of over 200 government workers were conveyed to Malabo in
chartered flights to watch Ghana’s quarter final clash with Guinea last Sunday
but have returned to Accra.
