GHANAIAN ATHELTES WILL WIN MORE MEDALS AT THIS YEARS ALL AFRICA GAMES –DR. DZRADOSI

Treasurer of the Ghana Athletics Association, Marc Dzradosi expects Ghanaian Athletes to set a new record at this year’s All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo in September.

Ghana will be represented at the multisport Competition by Atsu Nyamadi, who is the nation’s top ranked male athlete in the shot put, long jump and high jump events on the current IAAF Indoor Ranking while Emmanuel Dasor is the Country’s highest rated athlete in the 200 meters and 400 meters events.

Sprint Queen Janet Amponsah remains the highest ranked female athlete in the 55 meters, 60 meters and 200 meters events while Lynette Akai is rated as the Country’s top athlete in the 400 meters and 600 meters events.

Marc Dzradosi believes Ghana is well placed to secure a high number of medals at the All Africa Games.

“I think we are looking good looking at the rankings from the past fifteen years Ghana has the highest number of athletes ever ranked in the top twenty and thirty in Africa and that manifested in the our performances at the Africa Championships in Morocco last year where we won twelve medals despite nine of our athletes being injured we were able to put up a good result “.

So for me I think we have a better chance of making it huge this year at the various international events Dr. Dzradosi told Starr 103.5 FM”
