Undefeated Ghanaian lightweight boxer, Richard Oblitey Commey has revealed to Starr FM Sports that his opponent for his next fight in South Africa has been changed. 

 The 27-year-old was expected to fight South African Sipho Taliwe on March 21st but will now have to face Thompson Mokwana, who has a fight record of 20 wins, 9 losses and 1 draw out of 30 career bouts. 

Richard Commey, who will leave the country on Sunday, has explained that his managers took the decision to change his next opponent and fight date.

"as time goes on my opponent was changed to Thompson Mokwana, you know am not in control of that aspect. before i came down from UK, my management have already made the changes and they informed me about it"

 The bout will be staged at the same venue, the Emperors Palace at Kempton Park in Gauteng.
