BA UNITED FINALLY PART WAYS WITH GARGO, STEPHEN AHENKAN SUCEEDS HIM

The management of BA United has finally parted ways with Coach Mohammed Gargo.

The Ex Ghana midfielder who succeeded Frimpong Manso as the head trainer two weeks ago has been hurled before the Ethics Committee of the GFA over an allegation he made against the players of BA United that they have been involved in football betting.

The case which was first heard last Monday has been postponed to March 31. But the club has opted to replace Gargo.

Major Kwame Baah is General manager of the Sunyani based club and he tells Starr Sports that they have closed the chapter on Mohammed Gargo and Stephen Ahenkan has been appointed as the new head Coach of the Club.

" for me he is not coming back and the reason is simple, you know the FA commitee has invited him and we can't wait until the decision comes out and since we still need a coach to manage the players, the management has concluded on bringing a new coach. i can confidently say that Mohammed Gargo is no more with us. we do not have a written contract with him, it was just a verbal agreement we had with him. we now have a new coach on board, Stephen Ahenkan, he will manage the team now."
