Black Queens Captain Leticia Zikpi has been ruled out of the 2015 All Africa Games first leg qualifier against Zimbabwe on March 21 due to an injury, DailySoccerGhana.com can exclusively reveal.
The 29-year-old is currently nursing a knee injury she picked up while playing for her club side Immigration Ladies, hence cannot join her team-mates in the Queens camp.
The midfielder will only be able to return to national team duty after she undergoes a surgery on her knee.
Mercy Myles will act as the stand-in skipper in the absence of Leticia Zikpi during the continental qualifier at the Essipong Stadium.
