Asante Kotoko has launched a campaign dubbed “Operation Fill the
Stadium for Duncan” ahead of the match-day 12 Premier League fixture
against Liberty at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, DailySoccerGhana.com can exclusively confirm.
Asides’ filling the stadium for David Duncan ahead of his first home
game, the project is aimed at improving the dwindling home support.
In recent times, the Kotoko management has complained about a sharp
decline in the revenue accrued from home games since the club’s jerky
start to the season.
The 51-year-old former Free State Stars Coach has so far guided
Kotoko to clinch a goalless draw against MC El Eulma in the CAF
Champions League, supervised the 3-1 away win at Bechem United in the
Premier League and the 4-0 win over Paga Crocodiles in the MTN FA Cup.
