The American trainer, who has dedicated this week to the training of Ghanaian weightlifting coaches at the Accra Sports Stadium, has been holding work-out sessions with the national team in the last few days to improve the technique of the athletes.

Prof. Kyle Pierce tells Starr FM Sports a long-term training program will be needed to ready Ghana to do win laurels at the All Africa Games 2015.

“The tournament will be in July and that will be the all African games. That will be the next big tournament for Ghana.

We are working on a plan because in anything you have to work on a good training plan. As they say failing to plan is planning to fail so we have to come out with a good plan and a good programs for the next six months leading up to that competition.

We are working a little on techniques and we are going to work on a long term training plans. We have to work also on the A B C S that is the Archeology, Balance, Corporation and Speed”
