The management of New Edubaise will respond to the
Premier League Board today on their request for the club to pick a new venue
for home matches ahead of the start of the premier league on January 18.
The PLB
wants Edubiase to use the Obuasi Len Clay as their home ground after informing
the club that the Bekwai Gyamfi Park does not qualify to host matches based on
the FIFA Club Licensing requirements.
Edubiase’s top officials held a meeting on Monday
to decide on their next line of action but DailySoccerGhana has
revealed that the club will oppose the PLB directive based on the grounds that
the move will increase the club’s expenditure.
