GFA Rejects Hearts’ Request For Ashgold Match Reschedule


Hearts of Oak’s request to reschedule their midweek Ghana Premier League clash with AshantiGold has been turned down by the Ghana FA.

The Phobians were seeking a postponement of the match-day 15 fixture to avoid fatigue from creeping into the team, since Herbert Addo’s lads would have to return from Obuasi to face AC Djoliba in the CAF Confederations Cup in Accra on Sunday.
The FA’s decision means Hearts will have only Friday and Saturday to recover from their away test against the Miners before facing their Malian counterparts.Hearts of Oak have a 2-1 lead from the first leg of the continental tie against AC Djoliba and are eager to avoid defeat to progress to the play-off round of the
