LEAGUE FORMAT NOT FAVORING WOMEN FOOTBALL

The vice chairman of L.A Ladies football club, Mr. Osena Odotei has attributed the dip in women football in Ghana to the change of the league format and this according to him has developed less room for competition in the women’s team killing the interest of many young women footballers.
He also noted that the recruitment of good players into the civil service is not helping the women soccer because the other clubs are left with no good player to learn from and to compete with.
