Ghana reigning table tennis champion Derick Abrefa, has said his success story in the sport over the years was due to hard work and determination.
Abrefa, over the weekend defended his title at the 8th edition of the DG Hathramani table tennis championship after he brushed aside
Felix Lartey 3-2 at the D.G Hathiramani Hall of the Accra Sports
Stadium.
The annual championship, which saw over 50 table tennis players from seven regions and the security service battled it out with each other for the ultimate trophy
“I have always maintained that to be at the top, its only hard work and determination that will always make one succeed.
“I train very hard sometimes deep into the night and there is no juju
anywhere because for me I don’t believe in those things though some
believe in it my success story is due to hard work and determination

Eva Amankwa picked up the gold medal in the ladies division denying Cecilia Baah Danso of an opportunity to retain her title.
